Earle B. Brown

Of Counsel
President and Chief Executive Officer
Investor Relations Consultants, Inc.

Earle B. Brown, 71, founded Investor Relations Consultants, Inc. in 1971 in the Tampa Bay area following his years in the Chicago area with a major consumer electronics manufacturer and two of the most respected financial public relations firms.

Among IRCI's diverse client base are two publicly owned companies for whom Mr. Brown has counseled and directed IR programs since IRCI was founded.

Under Mr. Brown's leadership, IRCI has helped client companies pioneer investor relations practices that are now widely accepted as standard procedures. He organized what is believed to be the first securities analyst tour of an industry trade show and initiated analyst field trips for retailing clients that included comparison shopping at competitive stores. In the 90s, IRCI funded and counseled researchers at the University of South Florida in conducting the first comprehensive survey of investor relations practices at Florida publicly owned companies.

Mr. Brown notes that virtually all of IRCI's client relationships result from referrals by client managements, investment bankers, securities analysts, fund managers, attorneys or accountants. The firm has been called in to assist in a number of IPO road shows and other communications by such prestigious investment bankers as Morgan Stanley, Robert W. Baird and Raymond James.

Mr. Brown is a long-time member of the National Investor Relations Institute and an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America. He has led discussion panels at several "Going Public" seminars. Following his early experience as a newspaper and magazine editor, he has been an investor relations practitioner for more than 40 years.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Mr. Brown attended Washington State University where he earned the highest journalism honors and a B.A. degree with a major in economics. He also completed career enhancement courses at Cornell University and New York University and has been a guest lecturer in the public relations sequences at several universities.
