What IRC'S Investor Relations
Can Do for You:

Research/Knowledge

The Investor Relations Company brings to each new assignment considerable experience and a differentiated approach for a very wide range of companies from medical to pharmaceutical to technology to banking to energy to retail to manufacturing to real estate just to cite some examples. Our broad experience in positioning, messaging, targeting and financial branding fits the capabilities profile of a true consultant. This knowledge base is a great advantage. It means we usually get up to speed more quickly and completely on what needs to be learned about your company, its industry, and how macroeconomics affects both. It also means we usually have worthwhile contacts in the financial community that can provide near term support while we complete our targeting and initiate a multi-dimensional program.

As part of our initial background sessions during our account start up process, two areas are important.

Performance Drivers

How does your company really make its money? It is surprising how many investor presentations do not answer this tremendously important question. What really drives performance: marketing, manufacturing, service or products, market share? What role is played by sales levels, margins, expense control, cash, EBITDA, cost of capital vs. returns? How important are other non-financial factors: intellectual capital, customer loyalty, brand position, product or service quality, employee relations, manufacturing excellence (9001), supplier relations?

Investor Perceptions

What are investors' perceptions of the company? How do they match what management believes to be the reality? Which perceptions should we concentrate on bringing in line with what management believes is the reality? What is IRC's assessment of what management and investors think? We also sort out what investors think about your company's presentation separate from what they think about the company itself.
